Police rescued a kidnapped child Shadhin, 5, from Pirganj thana of Rangpur district on Monday night. who was kidnapped from Jamgora area of Ashulia on last Friday.
Police source said, Shadhin was kidnapped from in front of his home. After kidnapping him kidnapper demanded Tk 1.5 lakh to his family by mobile phone. About this matter child’s family filed a general diary (GD) with Ashulia police station on Saturday. Using technology of mobile call tracking, police conducted a drive confirming their position and rescued the child on Monday night from Pirganj of Rangpur district. Seikh Badrul Alom, Officer-in-Charge of Ashulia police station confirming the matter said no one was arrested in this drive.
