A child was electrocuted at at Digha Fakirpara village in Rawana union of the upazila on Friday morning.
The name of the dead child was Arafat (7). He is the son of Hafez Ibrahim Miah of the same village. Arafat was a student of the Nurani Section of the Digha Mridhabari Nurani Hafezia Madrasa. On this day he was supposed to be circumcised in Sunnah, his family organized a big ceremony at home. The finger goes inside the multiplug outside. Then he was electrocuted and died.
Director of Digha Mridha Bari Nurani Hafezia Madrasa Maulana Sakhawat Hossain confirmed the incident.
