Child abducted from Savar rescued from Pabna

Police have rescued a 12-year-old girl from Pabna’s Ishwardi three days after she was abducted from Savar’s Raj Fulbaria area. A young man named Sajib has been arrested in the incident.
Savar Model Police Station Sub-Inspector Jahidul Islam confirmed the information. Earlier on April 21, the child was abducted from Raj Fulbaria area of Savar. The name of the arrested youth is Sajib (24). He said Kushtia Daulatpur police station Gachedia village. Aran’s son used to live in the house of Mujibur Rahman in Raj Fulbaria area of Savar due to his job.
Police said that around 10 am on Thursday, the young man abducted a 12-year-old girl of his neighbor and took her to Ishwardi area of Pabna. Sajib’s uncle’s house in that area. When the mother of the abducted child lodged a written complaint with the Savar Model Police Station, the police rescued the child from Ishwardi. The kidnapper Sajib was arrested at that time.
The girl was studying in class seven in a local school. The victim child has been sent to One Stop Crisis Center of Dhaka Medical College Hospital for health check up. Sajib, who was arrested after filing a case under the Women and Child Abuse Prevention Act, has been sent to court.
