Chief of Naval Staff Admiral M Shaheen Iqbal leaves Dhaka for Turkey yesterday by the invitation of Chief of Naval Staff of Turkey Admiral Adnan Ozbal.
Assistant Naval Chief (Operation) and other navy officials saw him off at the Hazrat Shajalal Intenational Airport.
During the visit in Turkey Shaheen Iqbal will pay tributes at the Mazar of the first President of Turkey Mostofa Kamal Ataturk.
He will also exchange views with Admiral Adnan Ozbal on bilateral issues.
He will visit army museum, different bases and establishments in Turkey.
Shaheen Iqbal will return home on June 4 next.
