Golam Farida Chhonda is a noted TV actress but she has already worked in several numbers of good story based movies. She got appreciation to star in Shahriar Nazim Joy’s Arpita and Nargis Akhter’s movie Joiboti Konyar Mon. She has already finished shooting of Akram Khan’s movie Nokshi Kanthar Jomin. She played in an important role in this movie. On the occasion of coming Eid, she also completed shooting of seven-episode serial directed by Sokal Ahmed. In the meantime, she is also doing online business under the banner of Ruposhi Nondini. Basically last year’s Eid-ul-Azha, she started this online business based on Tangail’s Tant saree. According to Chhonda, if she could give more time to this business, she might fulfil
her dreams with Ruposhi Nondini within short time. However, besides acting, she is trying to give time to
this business now. While talking in this regard, Chhonda said, “Basically last year I had to pass leisure time due to corona pandemic. During that time I started an online business platform under the banner of Ruposhi Nondini. From the beginning I have been getting response from this platform. But when I started shooting I couldn’t give proper time to this business. So, I did not get satisfaction with my online platform despite getting response from all. Now strict lockdown is going on. So, I can give time
to this platform now. In the meantime, I can also give time to those which are going on at home. Overall, I am trying to continue acting and business simultaneously.”
Chhonda also informed that shooting of Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar’s movie Tungiparar Dussahosik Khoka is expected to start soon. Therefore, she is expected to start another project with her solo acting. Due to corona situation, these two works will not to be started soon.
Now Chhonda is acting in Deepto TV’s ongoing serial Mashrafe Junior, directed by Sajjad Sumon, and Banglavision’s ongoing serial Momtaz Mohol, directed by Sajib Mahmud. As a director, Chhonda also started her career. She has made a story-play titled Joshna. Kajol Kalo Din was Chhonda-starrer her debut TV drama, directed by Nur Hossain Dilu, the actress also said.
