Popular TV actress Golam Farida Chhonda for the first time in her acting career worked in a film. First movie always becomes something for the actress when she plays in the title role. It also happened in case of Chhonda.
She acted in the title role in Shahriar Nazim Joy’s movie titled Arpita. This movie was scheduled to be released in November but it did not get release date. Chhonda expected that this movie will be released in December.
While talking about the movie Chhonda told this correspondent, “It is really a great luck to act in movie for first time and also a lucky matter to get the opportunity to play in the title role in that movie. If I worked in that movie without any pressure I could give more while acting. But I am satisfied which I have given. I believe viewers will enjoy the film. Because these must have a message in Joy directed movie which is also found in Arpita.”
Chhonda also informed that she has already finished shooting of Nargis Akter’s movie Joibotee Konnyar Mon. Now Chhonda acted fairy tale based drama serial Maya Masnad, directed by SM Salauddin, is being aired on Ntv.
Therefore, recently Chhonda has returned from Cox’s Bazar after finishing shooting Mohon Khan’s ongoing serial Neer Khonjey Gungchil on ATN Bangla. Meanwhile, Chhonda acted and Jasim Ahmed directed short film Chocolate is set to be released internationally from London soon, she also said.
