Recipes: Chhana Usal

Ingredients:
o 1 Cup sprouted chhana, cooked
o 1/2 tsp Garam masala
o 5 Curry leaves
o 1/4 tsp Crushed cumin seeds
o 1/4 tsp Minced garlic
o Juice of 1 lemon
o 3 tbsp oil
o Salt to taste
o Make paste of:
o 1/2 Cup fresh coconut, grated
o 8 Green chilies
o 1 Small bunch coriander
Method:
o In a large frying pan, heat 3 tbsp oil.
o Add the coconut paste and fry for two minutes.
o Pour three cups water and bring the mixture to boil.
o Add remaining ingredients and boil again.
o Cook the contents for about 20 minutes, stir it occasionally.
o Simmer until chhanas turn soft and oil starts separating.
o Garnish Chhana Usal with chopped onions and serve immediately.
