Chevron Bangladesh celebrates its 25-years of operation in Bangladesh. Marking the anniversary of the company, a colorful event of celebration held at Hotel InterContinental Dhaka recently. Prime Minister’s Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Affairs Adviser Dr Tawfiq-e-Elahi, attended the event as the chief guest. Md. Mahbub Hossain, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources along with Gazi Mohammad Shahnawaz, MP of Habiganj- 1 constituency, Md. Nazmul Ahsan, Petrobangla Chairman, and Joseph Giblin, Economic Unit Chief of US Embassy in Dhaka were also present. Guest from Petrobangla, Energy and Power Resources Division, different govt agencies, AmCham and FICCI representatives, and social investment partners and Chevron employees were took part the event, said a press release. Dr Tawfiq-e-Elahi, Md. Mahbub Hossain and the Petrobangla Chairman all thanked Chevron’s contribution to supply the nation with much need natural gas and talked about future opportunities.
