Adv. Amirul Alam Milon MP of Bagerhat Constituency-4 (Morrelganj and Sharankhola Upazilas) and a member of the Central Executive Body of Bangladesh Awami League distributed cheques among the destitute and seriously ill poor people of his constituency in his Morrelganj office in recently on behalf the Prime Minister and leader of the people Sheikh Hasina from her Benevolent Fund ceremonially.
While the MP was distributing the cheques he told, at present the development works done during the premiership of Sheikh Hasiana are now visible.
Padma Bridge is one of her mega development projects. He added, with the inauguration of the bridged ushered a new era in the history of the neglected south and south-western region of the country and the people of the area are now enjoying its good effects.
MP Milon urged upon the people to make the hands of Sheikh Hasin stronger in order to maintain the velocity of the development works of the country.
At the time of distribution of cheqes leaders of Upazila Awami League and its front organizations were present. Cheque recipients are 15 in number and of them 12 hail from Morrelganj Upazila and 3 hail from Sharankhola Upazila.
