Chehlum of former assistant engineer of Public Works Department Saiful Islam will be held today at his own residence at Dilalpur in Pabna town after Johr prayers.
He died of brain stroke on December 30 at Pabna town. He was 69.
All his relatives, friends and well-wishers have been requested to attend the chehlum.
It may be mentioned that, he is the father of journalist Ashif Mahmud, former executive member and former Sports and Cultural Secretary of Dhaka Sub-Editors Council.
