The first ever premium cineplex in Chittagong opened its doors to movie-lovers on Thursday. The cineplex Silver Screen was launched on the sixth floor of Finlay Square at Sholoshohor Gate-2 in the port city with the screening of Amitabh Reza Chowdhury’s 2016 crime thriller Aynabaji and a press briefing.
Silver Screen owner Faruk Ahmed said that they had brought many things from the USA, China, India, Hong Kong and Belgium for the cineplex to give city people an exceptional movie experience.
The cineplex has 72 platinum seats and 18 titanium seats.
It will remain open from 11:00am to 11:00pm and run four shows every day. Platinum ticket price to watch a Bangla 2D movie will be Tk400 and it will Tk500 if it is a 3D movie, while the price for a foreign 2D movie will be Tk500 and Tk600 for a 3D movie.
