Charity show held at JU

A Charity show for the former and current students of Jahangirnagar University (JU) who are suffering from life threatening diseases, was held on the campus on the twenty first instant.
Shurid, a Jahangirnagar University Ex-Student Welfare Association organised the function at the Selim Al Din Muktamancha.
At the inaugural session of the show, President of Shurid, the 3rd Batch student of JU Aminur Rahman said, ‘We are working for the former and current students of this university who are suffering from life threatening diseases.
We have formed a fund with the help of former students of the university in this regard’.
‘We have already given financial support for treatment to a total of 10 JU students who suffered life threatening disease. Now, we need to enrich the fund and increase our organizational membership to continue this support to the JU students’, he added.
General Secretary of Shurid Minhaz Uddin Ahmed Bhuiyan conducted the programme while Vice President Khandakar Mahbub Elahi and Treasure Akbar Uddin Ahmed Milon among others addressed the function.
Former and running students of JU including Alif, Mati, Nehat and Fateme performed at the cultural session of the charity show.
