A Dhaka court has accepted a charge sheet against BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and 58 others in an arson case filed with Paltan Police Station.
Judge Kamrul Hossain Mollah of the Metropolitan Sessions Judge’s Court of Dhaka accepted the charge sheet on Wednesday. The court’s additional public prosecutor Tapas Kumar Pal told this to media.
Earlier on January 5, 2015, Mostak Ahmed, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Paltan Police Station filed the case. Later, Sub-inspector Dewan Uzzal Hossain of DB (east) submitted the charge sheet to the court after investigation.
