The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka on Monday fixed November 13 for further charge hearing in a sabotage case filed with Shahjahan Police Station of the city against 23 BNP leaders including the party’s Secretary
General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.
Magistrate Md Nur Nabi of the CMM Court passed the order after hearing. As BNP Joint Secretary General Habib-Un-Nabi Khan Sohel was in the jail after he surrendered to the court on Sunday in a number of cases, he could not appear to the court on Monday. For that the court set the new date for further charge hearing.
On March 2, 2013, the case was filed with Shahjahanpur Police Station against 23 BNP leaders including Mirza Fakhrul Islam and Habib-Un-Nabi Khan Sohel under sections 4 and 5 of the Speedy Trial Act. SI Ashraf Ali lodged the case.
Later, Detective Branch SI Ruhul Amin Munshi submitted the charge sheet of the case to the court on March 20 of the year.
