A Dhaka court on Monday framed charges against 43 leaders and activists of BNP and its different wings, including Jatiyatabadi Juba Dal President Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal.
The case was filed under Speedy Trial Tribunal for making chaos and anarchy at Nayapaltan central office on October 2, 2012.
Sources said that Magistrate Tareque Mainul Islam of the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) passed the order on Monday noon.
Among the accused, some are central leaders of BNP’s front organizations. They are Saiful Islam Nirob, Sultan Salahuddin Tuku, Habibun Nabi Khan Sohel, Habib-ur-Rashid and SM Jahangir.
