Satellite TV Channel i emerged unbeaten champions in the Kool-BSJA Media Cup Football Tournament beating Jamuna TV by 3-0 goals in the final at the BFF Artificial Turf in Motijheel on Tuesday.
BFF Senior Vice-president Abdus Salam Murshedy was the chief guest in the day’s final and later he distributed prizes.
Arif Hossain Hridoy scored two goals to be adjudged the man of the final as well as the man of the tournament to receive “Al Mossabir Saadi Man of the Tournament Award”, named after late BJSA member Al Mosabbir Saadi.
Debashis Roy netted the other goal for the champions in the day’s final.
Tournament’s semifinalist Gazi TV received the “Masud Ahmed Rumi Fair Play Trophy” named after late BJSA President Masud Ahmed Rumi.
Earlier in the semifinals, Channel i crushed ATN News by 7-0 goals while Jamuna TV beat Gazi TV by 2-0 goals.
