District Unit of PUNAK (Police Nari Kolyan Samity) stands by the workless Bede, (gypsies), workless poor women and men,3rd genders, , Horijon, physically challenged, poorer and destitute people during the bad days of the on-going lockdown to stop the further spread of Corona.
As part of the Central Committee’s directive, PUNAK Chandpur distributed relief packs among over 200 poor Bedes, workless women and men, Hijra, Horijon, physically challenged poorer and destitute people at a function held on the premises of Chandpur Sadar Model Thana on Wednesday morning. Chaired by PUNAK ‘s Vice President Puja Dash, speaking on the occasion, District Unit of PUNAK President Dr Afsana Sharmi said, ”This type of help to the workless people would continue in future too.” Then she distributed the relief packs as chief guest among the beneficiaries.
Additional SP (Crime & Admin) Sudipto Roy, Additional SP (Sadar Circle) Asif Mohiuddin, Chandpur Press Club President Prof Iqbal Hossain Patwary, OC Sadar Model Thana A. Rashid, and OC Investigation Sujan Kanti Barua among others were present on the occasion.
