Chandpur District BNP Unit’s former Vice President, former Public Prosecutor and former President of Chandpur Bar Samity and a noted social worker Advocate Kamrul Islam is no more.
He died after prolonged illness at a private clinic in Dhaka early 30 September. He was 65. He has been suffering from various old age ailments-said family sources. He leaves behind his wife, three daughters and a host of friends and admirers to mourn his death.
His first namajey janaza was held on the premises of Chandpur Bar Samity adjacent to District Judges’s Court. District and Sessions Judge Md Zulfiquer Ali Khan led the janaja. Then his second janaja was held at Matlab Dakhshin Upazila. He was buried at his family graveyard after 3rd namajey janaja at his village home at Roypur Islamabad ground in the afternoon on 30 September..
