Country’s pioneer in modelling photography noted photographer Chanchal Mahmud is now under observation at the CCU of Lab Aid Hospital. He had a heart attack on Sunday night. Basically he was worried after hearing the news of her wife Raina Mahmud’s cancer. It was confirmed by his wife on Monday.
After knowing the news of cancer in his wife’s body, Chanchal Mahmud gave a post on the wall of his Facebook account where he mentioned that for the 12 years they spent huge amount of money for his treatment. He faced cardiac arrest for three times. His wife will be taken to India for treatment. He sought financial support to all. He also sought help from the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in this regard.
Raina Mahmud said, “Right now I need for the survival of my husband. If he does not alive I do not need to survive. Now we are really helpless. It has become really difficult for us to continue our treatment costs. We need the PM’s attention in this regard.”
Salman Shah, Moushumi, Shabnur, Poppy, among others, started their film careers through the hands of Chanchal Mahmud. They took their first photographs from him. Nobel, Mou, Sweety, Tania, Pallab, Faisal, Shomi Kaiser, Bipasha Hayat, Afsana Mimi, among others, first stood in front of the camera’s of Chanchal Mahmud.
