On February 13, 2009 Gias Uddin Selim directed and Farhana Mili-Chanchal Chowdhury acted movie Monpura was released. After becoming a popular pair, both Mili and Chanchal got offers from the viewers for many times to work together again on the screen. But they couldn’t get the scope later to work together.
On the occasion of ensuing Eid-ul-Azha, this popular pair is coming on the screen in a special play and a serial. For the first time, Mili and Chanchal worked together under Brindaban Das written story based a play titled Markamara. Expert cameraperson Niaz Mahbub made the play. Niaz earlier made several other plays. This play will be aired on GTV in Eid.
Meanwhile, Mili and Chanchal also worked together in six-episode serial titled Kotha Kom Kaj Beshi.
Uzzal Mahmud wrote story of the serial. It will be aired in any satellite channel in Eid.
While sharing his feelings to work with Farhana Mili again Chanchal told this correspondent, “For the first time, I and Mili worked under Brindabanda’s script. Story of the play was really nice. In fact, Farhana Mili is an examined and proven actress. Not only in Monpura but also in other plays she acted well. She hailed from theatre so she knows well how to acting. I always feel comfortable to work with her.”
Farhana Mili shared her feelings by this way, “Chanchal Bhai is a serious actor. From the shooting time in Monpura I found his strong dedication in acting. He tries to blend with his roles properly. It is very important for an actor. I have learned this thing from him. He is also very much cooperative in the shooting spot.”
It is noted that both Farhana Mili and Chanchal Chowdhury will be seen to work in good story based several number of plays in Eid-ul-Azha.
