Chan Heng Wing, Ambassador of Singapore, meets with State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid at the latter office on Monday. Power Division Secretary Monowar Islam, Energy Division Secretary Nazim Uddin Chowdhury, among others, was preset. The ambassador informed that Singapore is generating three percent of its total electricity from wastage and converting steam of waste management plant as petro-chemical. Singapore is keen to generate electricity from waste in Bangladesh.
