From the beginning of her music career, listeners’ choice popular singer Champa Banik was very much choosy about her original songs. For this reason, number of Champa’s original song is less than her other contemporary singers.
But Champa does not feel bad in this regard. Because she believes her rendered songs last long forever in the minds of the music-lovers. Bondhu Tumi is the singer’s such a likable song. Jamal Hossain wrote lyrics of the song, while Muhin Khan has composed its tune.
Champa informed that the song was released
on YouTube channel of Rongon Music recently.
While talking about releasing her new original song Champa Banik said, “I always wanted to render those songs which lyrics and tunes are good. Bondhu Tumi is such an expected song.
I have liked lyrics and tunes of the song. For this reason, I am very much satisfied to render the song. I give thanks to Jamal Hossain Bhai for writing such a nice song and also give thanks
to Muhin for composing the song nicely.
Listeners are starting to like the song.”
Champa informed that she lent her vocal for play-back song of Montazur Rahman Akbar’s movie Jemon Jamai Temon Bou. Polli Malek wrote lyrics of the song, while Amit Chatterjee composed its tune. She also took part in ETV’s beauty related show Rup Labonnyo recently. She talked about her beauty secrets in the
programme. Few days ago, Champa rendered a song titled Jhora patar din deke bole jai, which lyrics and tunes were composed by Muzahidul Islam Lenin. On the occasion of last International Mother Language Day, Champa rendered a song titled Rokter Binimoye Bangla, which lyrics were written by Ershad Mazumder and tune was composed by Farid Ahmed. However, she also lent her voice for a river song on Betar. Composed by Firoz Khan, lyrics of the song was written by Ahmed Farid. Now she
has also become little bit busy with stage shows, Champa also said.
