Ei Raat Tomar Aamar is a popular musical show of present time. This programme
is being aired on RTV for last four years. Produced by King Shahriar, the programme has already crossed 400 episodes. Producer Shahriar informed that from Rafiqul Alam, Abida Sultana, Subir Nandi, Ferdous Ara, Timir Nandi to present generation’s singers performed in this show. Dithi Anwar and Anupama Mukti are anchoring this show from the beginning. Still now they are anchoring this show which is being aired every Wednesday
and Thursday at 7:30pm on RTV.
In the meantime, last Sunday recording of some episodes of this programme were held at Bengal Studio in the capital’s Tejgaon area. Samarjit Roy and Champa Banik took part in recording of an episode. Samarjit rendered songs Ogo Mor Modhumita, and O Meyer Nam Dibo Ki
as solo performer while rendered a duet number titled Gaan-eri Khatai Swaralipi Likhe with Champa Banik. On the other hand, Champa rendered songs Shoto Jonomer Swapno and Ei Mon Tomake
Dilam as the solo performer in the show.
While talking about anchoring this programme Dithi Anwar said, “Ei Raat Tomar Aamar is one of my favourite programmes. Basically this programme is bondage between senior and newcomer singers.
I am enjoying anchoring this show. In fact, I am inventing many things about
the field of music through anchoring this show. I give thanks to King Shahriar to give me scope to anchor the programme.”
Samarjit said, “Ei Raat Tomar Aamar is also my favourite show. Earlier, I got the opportunity to render songs in this show.
I give thanks King Shahriar and RTV to give me scope to render song again in this show. I have rendered three songs in the programme. I hope viewers will enjoy these songs. I have two stage shows in Cox’s Bazar and Noakhali on December
24 and 31 respectively.”
Champa Banik shared her feelings by this way, “Basically RTV is like my family. So, when get invitation to perform I feel really excited. This is also my favourite show.” “Today (December 21) I will take part in recording of BTV’s programme, on December 22, I have schedule for recording of my two original songs, on December 23, recording of Betar’s programme, on December 24, NTV’s live musical show
in the morning and on December 27, anniversary programme of Boishakhi
TV,” Champa also said.
