For the fourth time Channel i will live telecast Chaitro Sangkranti Utsab and Borshoboron 1422 in thousand voices. The main programme will start after sunset on April 13 by rendition of songs of Ponchokobi. It will continue till night (12:00am) on that day.
Later Borshoboron 1422 will start after sun rising on April 14. Thousand voices across the country including expatriates will render the song titled Esho Hey Boishakh. Under the coordination of noted Tagore artiste Rezwana Chowdhury Bonnya Surer Dhara-Channel i will arrange the event under the sponsorship of Sunsilk.
This was announced at a press conference held at Studio No 4 of Channel i in the city’s Tejgaon area yesterday.
Chairman and Principal on Surer Dhara Rezwana Chowdhury Bonnya and Head of News and Director of Channel i Shykh Seraj spoke in the press conference.
Therefore, coordinator of these two festivals Tagore artiste Azizur Rahman Tuhin, noted music director Pulack Sarkar and internationally renowned photographer Shahidul Alam also spoke on the occasion.
One hundred photographers of Drik will preserve photographs from Ramna Batamul on Pahela Boishakh, said the organisers.
