The 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Central Insurance Company Ltd. (CICL) held recently in the city.
In the AGM, the company approved 10 percent cash dividend for their shareholders for the year 2015. Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company Md. Nurul Islam presided over the meeting where a large number of shareholders were present.
The meeting also approved the company’s account for the year 2015. The AGM informed the shareholders that the company earned gross premium income of Tk. 308.52 million during the year which was 1.85 percent higher than the previous year and net premium income of Tk. 221.19 million during the year which was 8.48 percent higher than the previous year and total assets at the end of the year stood at Tk. 1,625.61 million which was 3.40 higher than the previous year.
