A preparatory meeting of Chattogram Central Eid Jamaat committee was held at DC’s conference hall on Thursday with Additional Deputy Commissioner (Edn & ICT) Md, Amirul Kaiser in the chair.
The meeting unanimously decided to hold the main Eidul Azha Jamaat at Green field adjoining to MA Aziz Stadium at 8.00 am sharp on August 22 next. In address of welcome , Secretary General of the committee Principal Dr.Abdul Karim urges all concerned for extending cooperations so as to complete the Eidul Azha prayer with religious fervor .

Allama Dr.Sayeed Abu Noman and Religious Affairs secretary of the CEJC Hazrat Moulana Abdul Mabud have been selected as Principal Imam and Alternate Imam respectively for the main Eid Jamaat as decided in the meeting. In case of absence of Principal Imam, the alternate Imam will conduct the Jamaat.
The meeting also decided timings of Eid Jamaat in 93 zonal Eidgaons in the city will be arranged as per decisions of the local committee. The meeting unanimously expressed gratitutes and thanks to President of the committee and the district administration for bearing the expenses for pandel, canvas and electric fans for Eidul Azha namaz from own fund of the district administration. It also felicitated the philanthropists and donor organizations those contributed for meeting expenses for the eid congregation.
In the meeting, Treasurer of the committee Alhaj Saleh Ahmed Suleman presented the income expenditure accounts of Eidul Fitr namaj of 2018 before the meeting which was unanimously consented.
