IEEE Student Branch Green University of Bangladesh (GUB) along with IEEE Computer Society, GUB Student Branch Chapter celebrated the IEEE Day 2019 on Thursday at the permanent campus of the university. The event was made more attractive by including Technical Quiz Competition, Keynote Speech, Tech Talk on Future of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Cake Cutting, Grand Rally, Forming Human IEEE and so on.
Pro Vice-Chancellor of GUB Prof Dr Md. Abdur Razzaque was present as chief guest of this event. He focused on benefits of getting IEEE membership in his speech. He motivated the participants in his speech to stand under the umbrella of IEEE.
Prof Dr Chowdhury Farhan Ahmed, Chairperson of Dept of CSE delivered a tech talk on future of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Umme Rman, Campus Director of permanent campus of GUB inspired the participants to join with extracurricular activities along with academic activities. Dr Muhammad Aminur Rahaman mentioned that the IEEE Day’s theme is: “Leveraging Technology for a Better Tomorrow”. While the world benefits from what’s new, IEEE focuses on what’s next.
