The Civil Engineering Department of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) has achieved Certificate of Accreditation for three years, an ISPR press release said.
It attained the certificate after a visiting team of Board of Accreditation for
Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE), Bangladesh led by Professor AFM Saiful Amin, Member-Secretary, BAETE, evaluated the facilities of Civil Engineering Program of MIST on April 23, 24 and 26 this year.
The B. Sc. in Civil Engineering program (daytime) began from July 12. The program is graded as ‘Very Good (A)’ which is the highest grade in this regards.
Civil Engineering is the pioneer department of MIST. Since its establishment, this department carries on enriching knowledge in the field of education and research activities successfully. It is certainly a great achievement for CE department which will inspire the faculty members, students and staffs to provide their best to make this institute a ‘Center of Excellence,’ the press release reads.
