The leaders of Chittagong District Bar Association met with the Chairman of Chittagong Development Authority Abdus Salam in a review meeting on March 25.
He said that I am a politician and devoted with the sprit of Bangabandhu. In various aspect the people are very anxious about politics .
I want to develop Chittagong with my full efforts and bring the faith of people to the politician by doing development work for Chittagong .
It is the real time to engage fair and dignified persons to be involved in politics for the welfare of the society . He further told that massive development works in Chittagong area started in full swing .
We need the advice from learned advocates for the development work. CDA has a plan to build a tunnel in the archery of Karnaphuli river, Elevated Express way from Airport to Shah Amanat Bridge, Ring Road from Potenga Bari Bad to Fouzdar Hat, Aktaruzzaman Fly over from Muradpur to Lalkhan Bazar Mor, Connecting Road from Baizid Bostami to Fouzdarhat (Bai-pass road) will be built by the supervision of Chittagong Development Authority will take initiative with in a short period .
During the view exchange meeting he also told that South Chittagong will be built as exclusive special economic zone and exclusive tourism zone.
He also thanked the prime minister Sheikh Hasina for appointing Engineer Mosaraf Hossain as Housing and Public Works Minister and another son of Chittagong Saifuzzaman Chowdhury Jabed as State Minister for Land. We hope that Chittagong will advance in next five years.
