Rangamati District Police set up three CCTV cameras at Manikchari Police Check Post area on Wednesday for controlling criminal activities and identified criminals.
Police Super Amena Begum inaugurated the CCTV camera activities as chief guest. Rangamati Zone Commander Lt. Col. Sazzad Hossain was present at the ceremony as guest of honour. Additional SP of Rangamati Abul Kalam Azad, Habibur Rahman and other police officer were also present at the programme.
In the opening ceremony of CCTV camera SP of Rangamati Police briefed the journalists that with the help of CCTV camera all kinds of footage will be taken at the entry point of Rangamati Town and Khagrachari District and stored for future use.
