M Maksud, Managing Director of Corona Power Generation Ltd, has recently been elected as the president of the France-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFB) for the year 2016-18.
Besides, the CCIF also elected its 17 Executive Board Members at a city hotel said a press release.
Moshiur Rahman, Managing Director of Paragon Group as Vice President-1 and Sayed Moazzam Hossain, Managing Director of SMH Engineering Ltd as Vice President-2 and Md Shafquat Matin, Managing Director of Dipon Group elected as Treasurer.
Sophie AUBERT, French Ambassador in Bangladesh and Piere Fabre, French Trade Commissioner in Bangladesh were present during the event.
President said, CCIFB has the goal to improve the image of Bangladesh in France. We believe that reducing negative perceptions of the “Made in Bangladesh” will bring new trade opportunities for both countries.
