CCCI urges Thailand for more investment

President of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce & Industry Mahbubul Alam called upon the Thai trade delegation to investment in different sectors in Chittagong.
Chamber President called upon the visiting Thai delegations while exchanging views with them at a city posh hotel on Wednesday night.
The Thai delegation consists of members from Port Authority of Thailan , Ranang Port and Public & Business sector.
Chamber President mentioned that there are enough scope of marketing of Bangladeshi products in Thailand like pharmaceuticals, chemicals, leather goods, frozen fish, jute, jute products, ceramics, platic, furnitures and RMG products.He said if the direct shipping line in between Chittagong and Ranang is introduced, the trade gaps between these two neighbouring countries will be equalized to maximum extents.
President of Thai Bangladesh Business council Mr. Mingpant Chaya emphasized the increase of bilateral trade relations with Bangladesh.
Among others, Chamber Director Mahfuzul Hoque shah, Mazharul Islam chowdhury, Jahirul Islam chowdury, Asstt. Director General of Thailand Port authority Mr.Pole, Deputy Director, TPA and Governor of Ranang Province Suriyak, Vice governor Narang and chairman of Ranang chamber of commerce Ms. Sudarpan were present on the occasion, a CCCI release said.
