A meeting of views ex change in between Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and the Bangladesh Shop Owners Association, Chittagong district held on Wednesday at WTO Hall in the port city.
President of BSOA, Chittagong Alhaj Saleh Ahmed Suleman, Senior Vice President Haji Md. Shahabuddin, Secretary Md. Sagir, Abdul Mannan of TerriBazar Samity spoke on the occasion duly presided by CCCI President Mahbubul Alam in the chair.
The CCCI President in his brief deliberations said businessmen are the working force of the economy and reiterated his determination to face the harassments by the law enforcers while realizing the VAT, Tax and Mobile court drives. Chamber President assures the business leaders to run their businesses peacefully overcoming all hurdles .
He also demanded to shut the trade or business fair indiscriminately arranging in city areas which caused business loss to the shop owners.
Leaders of the different confederating unit of the BSOA , Chittagong were present among others, sources said.
