Philippine Ambassador Alan L. Deniega exchanged views with Mahbubul Alam, President of The Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry. An exchange of views was held at the chamber’s office at the World Trade Centter in the city on Sunday morning. Honorary Consul of the Philippines Mr. Awal was also present at the meeting. , Third Secretary of the Embassy Mrs Christian Hope, President of Chittagong Ladies Club Khaleda Awal and officials of the Chamber Secretariat were present.
During the exchange of views, Ambassador Alan El Denega noted the friendly relations between the Philippines and Bangladesh and hoped to work specifically to fill the trade deficit between the two countries.
