The Annual General Meeting of the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI) for the year 2016-2017 was held today at its auditorium, says a press release.
CCCI President Mahabubul Alam presided over the function while former CCCI president M.A. Latif MP, Vice-President Sayed Zamal Ahmed, directors A K M Akter Hossain, M A Motalab, Mahfuzul Hoque Shah, Syed Sagir Ahamed, Jahirul Islam Chowdhury (Alamgir) and Anzan Shekor Das, among others, addressed the function.
Speaking at the function Mahabubul Alam lauded the contributions of this century old chamber to the advancement of the private sector in Bangladesh and particularly in Chittagong.
He said the CCCI is playing a very vital role in ensuring the socio-economic progress of the country and making Chittagong a global city.
