CCC to remove sacrificial animal wastes within six hours: Mayor

Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) has completed all kinds of necessary preparations for the removal of
sacrificial animal wastes of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha. Following the success of the past years, CCC has planned to remove waste from 41 wards of the city by 4:00pm on Eid day. This was said by the CCC Mayor Rezaul Karim Chowdhury while speaking as the chief guest at a preparatory meeting of the Cleaning and Conservancy Department for Waste Disposal at CCC’s KB Abdus Sattar auditorium on Tuesday. CCC Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Shahidul Alam and acting Chief Cleaning Officer Mohammad Abul Hashem also spoke on the occasion. Mubarak Ali, Haji Nurul Haque, Abdus Salam Masum, Shahed Iqbal Babu, Esrarul Haque, Secretary Khaled Mahmud, Astt Chief Engineer Kamrul Islam, Supervising Engineer Jhulan Kumar Das, Executive Engineer Mirza Fazlul Quader, Cleaning Officer Pranab Sharma were also present
on the occasion.
