City Mayor M Manzoor Alam said the surcharge on outstanding holding taxes will be exempted upto December 31 next and the concerned tax collectors will come under disciplinary actions in case of negligence in realizing the tax from the city dwellers.
City Mayor disclosed it while addressing the coordination meeting of the Revenue Deptt of the city corporation at City corporation auditorium yesterday afternoon.
City Mayor also directed the officials of the revenue department to become more dynamic in realizing the holding tax for the interest of the corporation. Chief Executive officer of CCC Kazi Shafiul Alam presided over the meeting.
Among others chief resvenue officer Ahmadul hoqaue and senior official Shamaul Alam were present in it.
