The meetings of the Managing Committees of Saleh Jahur City Corporation High School, Baluar Dighi City Corporation Girls’ High School and Panchlaish Cirty Corporation Kindergarten were held at the Chittagong City Corporation Hall this morning.
The meetings were chaired by Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) A J M Nasir Uddin.
Addressing the meetings, CCC Mayor Nasir Uddin stressed on quality education and infrastructure development of the schools. He said, “We must ensure proper environment for the students to achieve best results and acquire knowledge.”
Nasir Uddin said close circuit cameras would be installed at all schools and educational institutes of CCC. “Besides, we will demolish all risky school buildings and construct new buildings for the students.”
Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) is maintaining a huge number of educational institutions including one University, one midwifery Institute, 8 colleges, 4 computer colleges, one homeopathic medical college, 43 high schools, 6 kinder garten schools, 2 primary schools, 4 night schools, 6 Sanskrit Schools and 410 forkania madrashas.
