Nazir of Nezarat Section (Revenue) Md. Elias Chowdhury has been suspended from service for his alleged irregularities in Nezarat section .
CCC Executive Magistrate and Acting Officer of Nezarat Nazia Shirin confirmed the suspension of Elias Chowdhury . CCC sources said Elias Chowdhury was suspended following the hardening the Nationality Certificate book .
CCC sources said ward commissioner of No.39 South Halishahar ward Ziaul Hoque Sumon sent ward secretary Md. Mansur to CCC head office for collecting Nationality Certificate book but the concerned Nazir Elias Chowdhury denied to supply NC book saying no such book is now available in CCC office.
Failing to get the NC book, he informed the matter to concerned Ward councilor which apprised to CCC secretary Rashid Ahmed . According to CCC records, there should be 45 such NC book in office but on order of Secretary, Nezarat official Elias presented only 15 books to secretary and 30 book could not be showed to him saying with lame excuse of missing.
While contacted Elias Chowdhury said he joined in this section 3 years ago and the printed NC books during his tenure already issued but some old NC books are found in the ledger book and most of the old books damaged by the white ants. He further alleged that he was suspended motivatedly.
