City Mayor M Manzoor Alam said, the Revenue Department of Chittagong City Corporation brought under automation service aimed at fulfilling the pledge of accountability and transparency of the corporation.
From now, every residents of the city will know the information of holding tax details sitting in house through using the software of Holding Tax Management System, he said.
He said in this software, the information about holding tax of 1,47,592 tax holders will be available .
He disclosed it while addressing the inaugural ceremony of 3-day long workshop on Holding Tax Management System at CCC Auditorium yesterday as Chief Guest. He said in the meantime, Human resources management, store management and Nezarat management have been brought under this automation. In the workshop, city Mayor handed over laptop to each revenue officer of CCC and disclosed the distribution of laptop among the deputy tax officer and tax collector in phases.
