City Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) AJM Nasir Uddin has approved 716 projects after scrutiny at a cost of Tk.360 cr.
The approval was given at the coordination meeting of Civil, Mechanical and Power Engineering Department of the Corporation on Sunday at its conference hall.
The projects budget include procurement of modern asphalt plant, 16 dumping truck, 2 pelledar, 2 c hain dozer, 2 power machine and machinery equipment.
Among others, CCC Secretary Rashid Ahmed, Personal Secretary of Mayor Md. Manzoorul Islam, Superintending engineer Md. Yakub Nabi, Anowar Hosain, Rafiqul Islam, Executive Engineer Manirul Huda, Abu Saleh, Kamrul islam, Shamsul Huda siddiqui and senior officials were present in the meet.
Call to return excess fees to students immediately: Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Mesbahuddin has directed all secondary schools in the city to return the excess fees so realized from the intending SSC examinees for the exams of 2016.
This order was given at a meeting of the schools held in DC conference hall yesterday morning.
DC Chittagong presided over the meeting .
Among others Add. Deputy Commissioner(Edn) Daulatuzzaman and more than 100 teachers of private schools were present in the meet.
Following the news published in the medias about the excess fees so realized by some private secondary school, District administration has called this meeting yesterday.
Mentionable that Chittagong Education Board has ordered 12 private secondary schools to return the excess fees that realized on November 15 last.
