City Mayor of Chittagong A J M Nasir Uddin said at a roundtable meeting arranged by news portal of the country that the people of Chittagong will see the visible development within next one year as the government has taken mega projects for the development of the port city Chittagong now.
Editor of Banglanews-24.com Alamgir Hossain chaired the round table meeting titled “Chittagong on the highway of development and citizen’s suffering and duty of the citizen” held at Radisson Blu hotel in the port city recently.
Nasir Uddin also said, it is very difficult to solve the crisis of Chittagong. The water logging which is a very prime problem of Chittagong likely to be solved as the government has taken mega projects through CDA.
Among others, Editor of Daily Azadi M A Malek, President of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mahabubul Alam, Additional Commi-ssioner of Chittagong Metropolitan Police Devdas Bhattachariya, journalist Rafiqul Bahar, Tapon Chakraborti, Dr Anwara Alam, Chief Engineer of Chittagong WASA Engineer Nurul Afsar addressed the meeting.
