City Mayor AJM Nasir Uddin has assured to provide all expenses for better treatment of the gas tragedy victims that occurred at early yesterday .The fatal incident of gas line explosion happened at Pathergatha ward in the city yesterday. Sensing the news of the fatal gas explosions at Pathergatha, city mayor stormedthere at about eleven am .While visiting the accident prone spot, Mayor ensures for higher treatment to the injured persons.
He asked the local councilor and the fire brigade service men to extend all possible helps to the victims’ family. City Mayor expressed deep shock over the unwanted deaths and expressed sympathy to the members of the bereaved family .
City Mayor also visited the injured persons at CMC Hospital and console them and assures all better treatment . Personal Secretary of city Mayor told that CCC authority arranged transports for carrying the dead bodies to their respective native home and paid Tk. two thousand instantly for other ritual expenses . Sources said one lakh taka to each demise family will be given later on.
