The newly elected city Mayor of Chittagong AJM Nasiruddin left for Dhaka yesterday morning aimed at meeting with the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Gonobhaban yesterday evening .
After his courtesy call with the Prime Minister at Gonobhan at 7 pm yesterday , the newly – elected Mayor will swear oath as Mayor on Wednesday, his Personal Secretary Md. Raihan said.
He will back in Chittagong after taking oath. A reliable sources of city Awami League said AJM Nasir is accompanied by his family members, President of Chittagong South District Awami League Moslemuuddin and 5 newly- elected councilors left for Dhaka by Novo Air yesterday morning.
