Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation M Monzoor Alam said, he is committed to make Chittagong a tourism destination.
City Mayor said this in an inaugural function of three- day long International Tourism Fair -Chittagong Travel Mart-2013 in the Port city on Thursday.
City Mayor also urged foreign airlines to start operations from the port city.
The Bangladesh Monitor ,a travel publication arranged the fair in Chittagong for the fifth time.
Air lines ,tour operators,hotels resorts, amusements parks and organizations took part in the fair.
President of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCCI)Mahbubul Alam and Editor of Daily Azadi M.A Malek were present at the inaugural function as special guests.
A total of 16 organisations from home and abroad are taking part in the fair.
The participants are Regent Airways ,United Airways ,Bankok Airways Tourism Malaysia, The Peninsula Chittagong,Long Beach Hotel,Grand Sultan Tea Resort, Grand Prince Hotel, Amezing Tours and Best Bangla Tours,
