Chittagong City Corporation has first ever entered in e-Tendering portal. For the first of entering e-portal method, CCC called five e-GP(electronic govt procuremen) tender through portal on Wednesday .
Through this web-portal , any tenderer from any parts of the country as well as abroad may participate the bid , sources said.
The registration of tenderers, tender notice, submission of tenders, opening of tenders, approval and work order will be complied through online . Chief Engineer of CCC Monirul Huda told that as per terms of reference of development partner JICA, these five tenders e-GP was called through portal . With the financial assistance of JICA , these projects will be implemented , sources said.
He further disclosed that CCC gradually will complete the tender procedures through portal in coming days. CCC sources said under the financial assistance of JICA(Japan International Cooperation Agency) will implement 15 projects at a cost of Tk.200 crores under project title Inclusive City Governance Project and expected to be completed by end of this year.
