Chattogram Bureau :
The entire Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) has been divided into six regional zones to decentralize the practice of providing services at the head office. Each zone will be headed by a Regional Executive Officer. These officers are supposed to be posted on the dispatch from the BCS administration.
But the regional zones could not be strengthened as the officers were not appointed. The last four officers have been posted.
Mayor’s Private Secretary (Senior Assistant Secretary) Abul Hashem told the media that the work of setting up offices and other infrastructure is underway to launch six zones with them.
