Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) A J M Nasir Uddin inaugurated the 12 years of founding of CCC Computer Institute and Technology Fair at GEC convention centre on Saturday morning. CCC Chief A J M Nasir Uddin inaugurated the function by releasing balloons and hoisting the national flag.
Addressing the inaugural function as chief guest Nasir Uddin said, “Presently, CCC Computer Institute is the second largest institution for technical education in Chittagong under the Technical Education Board. We have provided free computer training to 124 poor students after taking my charge as mayor of CCC.”
He said, CCC Computer Institute provided technical and computer education to 12,000 students in last 12 years.
“Besides, we have also provided 540 secretaries of union councils by our CCC Computer Institute. Moreover, we have also provided short course to 900 members of police and 120 students of colleges of Chittagong so far.”
