The Consular Corps in Bangladesh (CCB) on Thursday joined hands with the ‘JAAGO Foundation’, a charitable organization, to distribute blankets for the needy and destitute people of Bangladesh.
The funds, donated by the members of the CCB, comprising members of the Honorary Consuls from different countries around the globe, will be used for purchasing and distributing blankets amongst the needy people in Bangladesh’s worst affected areas.
Former Ambassador and CCB Adviser Raziul Hasan along with CCB Treasurer Amiruzzaman were also present.
The CCB members have raised and contributed a handsome amount to purchasing blankets, which was handed over by President of CCB Asif A Chowdhury to Founder, JAAGO Foundation Korvi Rakshand at a ceremony in the CCB office, said a press release.
