Sultana Rajia, wife of the CBA leader of Chittagong Development Authority (CDA) Habibur Rahman Habib alleged that CDA Chairman Abdus Salam tried to kill her husband and locked in conspiracy against him.
Sultana Rajia and family members of General Secretary of CBA of CDA Habibur Rahman Habib held a press conference at Chittagong Press Club on Wednesday morning.
Sultana Rajia, said her husband was involved with the trade union at CDA. He was organizing movement on behalf of Sramik League for establishing the right of workers and staffs of CDA. Later, CDA Chairman terminated him illegally. Following the rivalry, Abdus Salam sent terrorists to my house at Roufabad to kill Habib non August 3. But, Habib was not in the house on that day. Later, the terrorists threatened to kill my husband if he does not stop the rivalry with Salam.”
She requested the Prime Minister to intervene and save her husband’s life. General Secretary of Chittagong Divisional Federation of Shop Owners, Auto- rickshaw Sramik Leaguie president Ferdous Hasan Mukul, General Secretary Nurul Islam, Transport Sramik League President Golam Mostafa were present at the press conference.
